Straight Run Fuel Oil
Resids with cuts between 345-560 ºC obtained from the bottoms of atmospheric distillation of crude oil where the heavier compounds and most of the sulphur contained in the feedstock are concentrated. Their characteristics are entirely dependant on the type of crude oil used in the distillation.
This resid can be further processed by vacuum distillation and/or conversion units to crack the long chain hydrocarbons contained in the resid. S/R Fuel oil can be used as blendstock with cracked fuel oil as well but due to its higher price is mainly interesting as feedstock, particularly those with a high content of paraffins, low content of metals and asphaltenes.
As most modern refineries further process the resids obtained from their distillation units to produce higher value streams, obtaining S/R fuel oil is possible from refineries which produce it as an end product without any further possibility of process it or modern refineries that plan a shutdown of their vacuum or conversion units.
Our company offers to our clients mainly spot but as well term transactions from petroleum and trading companies of S/R fuel oil:
- M100 type I, II and IV manufactured by Russian refiners delivered at Baltic, Black Sea and Northern Russian Sea ports.
