Feedstocks
Feedstocks are raw or semi-processed materials used to feed the different units of petroleum and petrochemical companies to produce finished products, intermediate feedstocks and blending components. Each feedstock must be selected carefully according to the characteristics of the processing unit and the yield of products to be obtained, otherwise the result could be a damage of the unit or a yield of less value products. Our team will assist you in selecting and sourcing the suitable feedstock for your unit to produce the yields of products desired.
Straight Run Naphtha
S/R Naphtha obtained from the atmospheric distillation of crude oil is used as feedstock by catalytic reforming and cracking units.
Vacuum Gas Oil
VGO is an intermediate feedstock obtained by vacuum distillation of the bottom resids from atmospheric distillation of crude oil.
Straight Run Fuel Oil
Resids with cuts between 345-560 ºC obtained from the bottoms of atmospheric distillation of crude oil where the heavier compounds and most of the sulphur contained in the feedstock are concentrated. Their characteristics are entirely dependant on the type of crude oil used in the distillation.
